ShowTech MARDI 2025 is set to take place from May 29 to June 2, 2025, at MAEPS, Serdang, Selangor. Organized by the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), this event will showcase 188 cutting-edge agricultural technologies across eight innovation clusters.
🌾 What’s ShowTech MARDI All About?
ShowTech MARDI is a premier platform where MARDI unveils its latest research and innovations in agriculture. This year, the exhibition is divided into three main zones:
- Zone A: Features Hall A and its surroundings, highlighting core technological advancements.
- Zone B: Showcases modern agriculture pathways and crop demonstration plots.
- Zone C: Dedicated to livestock farms, herb gardens, stingless bee farms, and vegetable gardens.
Visitors can engage in interactive activities, including vegetable harvesting experiences, providing a hands-on understanding of modern farming techniques.
🏃♂️ ShowTech MARDI Run 2025
In conjunction with the exhibition, the ShowTech MARDI Run 2025 will be held on May 31, 2025. Organized by the Badan Kebajikan dan Sukan MARDI (BKSM), the run offers two categories:
- 5 km Fun Run: Open to participants aged 3 and above.
- 10 km Competitive Run: Divided into Men’s and Women’s Open (13-39 years) and Veteran (40 years and above) categories.
Participants will receive event t-shirts, finisher medals, and refreshments. Winners in the competitive categories stand to win cash prizes and plaques.
